Oslo Trip - Day 1

Hei Hei!

The NLC class got home from a 3 day trip to Oslo! It was fun and we were lucky enough to get sunny, crisp weather. Last Wednesday we got up bright and early and took an 8am train to Oslo. It was a beautiful, cross country trip. Super fun actually! I slept most of the way so it went by quick. We got off the train in Oslo central station and began making our way to the hostel we were staying at. We stopped at an Indian restaurant for a buffet which was delicious. After a quick walk through the sculpture garden next to the royal palace, we arrived at the hostel and got settled into our rooms. We met at the National Theatre at 3pm to see a play/musical. It was fun, but made for kids so not super entertaining. But the actual building is really cool and has some crazy paintings in it. Pictures to follow!

There is a small sculpture garden in the park surrounding the castle. Each of the sculptures was drawn by a k

After the play, we were able to explore Oslo a bit. There was a Christmas market nearby, lots of pretty lights. It got us in the Christmas mood!

Day 2 of our Oslo trip coming up soon. Hope everyone is well :) let me know if you have any questions!
